Competition Schedule:
Morning competition: Primary, Beginner, Novice, Intermediate & Pre-Championship dancers
8:00am - Building opens to morning & all-day attendees (if you arrive to the facility prior to 8am, please do not enter the building into 8am, we will still be in set-up mode and not able to allow admittance until 9am)
8:10am - 8:45am - Morning competition registration
9:00am - Morning competition begins
Dancing will begin with Beginner & Novice Lilt, followed by Primary Pas de Basques and Pas de Basques and High Cuts and then Intermediate & Pre-Championship Fling. Remaining dances to be danced in order listed on entry.
~ 12:30pm - Morning competition & awards scheduled to be concluded
Primary awards will take place immediately following the conclusion of the morning dancing. Remainder of the morning awards will take place following the choreography competition
Early Afternoon competition: Choreography
10:00 - Choreography competition registration opens
~11:30am - Choreography competition begins
Competition will take place immediately following the conclusion of the morning dancing, after Primary awards
~ 12:30PM - Choreography competition & awards scheduled to be concluded
Please stay dressed in choreography costumes for awards, choreography awards will be presented first to allow time to change for the Championship
Late Afternoon competition: Championship
11:30am - 12:30pm - Afternoon competition registration
~12:30pm - Afternoon competition begins
~ 4:30pm - Championship competition & awards scheduled to be concluded
Competition Information:
Competition will be conducted in accordance with the rules of S.O.B.H.D. Age groups determined by entries, including Championship. The decision of the judge is final. Dance numbers will be provided at registration. First to enter, last to dance. Contact [email protected] with questions or visit www.QOSDA.com.
Championship age groups: 7 & Under 12, 12 & Under 14, 14 & Under 16, 16 & Under 18, 18 & Over. May be adjusted based on entries received.
Champion of the Day will be awarded via a Dance Off of a 4-Step Fling from the 5 Champions. Per RSOBHD, minimum of 6 dancers per group required to be eligable.
No concessions will be provided on-site, but we will have our annual raffle table.
Highly recommending pre-purcahsed entry and program. Spectator admission $10/person 12 & over. Children under 12 enter free. Limited programs will be available on-site for purchase for $5 each (USD only).
$5 of each entry will go to MW-FUSTA for USIR 2022. Entries close Friday, May 6, 2022. In order to be guaranteed a listing in the program, entry must be received by closing day. Late entries may be accepted at double fee until Friday, May 13, 2022. Any entries accepted after May 13th would be assessed triple fee.

Flint Airport (FNT) is approx 51 miles (45 minute drive)
