MICHIGAN CELTIC CLASSIC 11th ANNUAL FALL HIGHLAND DANCE COMPETITION
Competition Information:
Doors to competition venue will open at 8:00 A.M. Registration for Demonstration, Primary, Beginner & Novice dancers will begin at 8:00 A.M. and end at 8:45 A.M. The competition will start at 9:00 A.M. with the Beginner and Novice Lilt, followed by Demonstration & Primary Pas de Basques. Remaining schedule of day tentative until entries received - final schedule to be emailed to all participants and teachers the week prior to the competition. Choreography, Intermediate & Premier dancers my register at any point once registration opens. Choreography competition will start at the conclusion of the morning dancing (approximately 11:30 A.M.). Choreography max of 1:30. Please email music to [email protected] by November 8th. Intermediate & Premier competition will start at the conclusion of the morning/choreography awards (approximately 1:00 P.M.).

Primary: Pas de Basques, Pas de Basques & High Cuts, Fling (4), Sword (2 & 1)
Beginner: Lilt (4), Fling (4), Sword (2 & 1), Trews (3 & 1)
Novice: Lilt (4), Fling (4), Sword (2 & 1), Trews (3 & 1)
Intermediate: Flora (4), Laddie (4), Fling (4), Trews (3 & 1)
Premier: Flora (4), Laddie (4), Fling (4), Trews (3 & 1)
Choreography: Pre-Premier Solo, Premier Solo, Duet, Group
Competition will be conducted in accordance with the rules of S.O.B.H.D. Age groups will be determined by entries received. The decision of the judge is final. Dance numbers will be provided at registration. Entrance fee to competition $5 per person (12 and over). Children under 12 enter free. Limited programs available on-site for $5.
